Isaac Newton

His big book of motion and gravity came out in 1687.

Isaac Newton wrote three rules that predict how things move when forces push them.

He also built a theory of gravity that covers both a falling apple and the Moon.

Scientists still test gravity in new ways.

He did think about falling apples and the Moon. We are not sure an apple hit him on the head.
